Jurong Central Countdown 2012 - "A Happy Community for ALL"

Jurong Central Countdown 2012 was successful held with about 1,500 residents welcoming the new year together with their neighbours and friends. The theme of the Countdown Party is – "A Happy Community for ALL".

Residents wrote down their Happy New Year Wishes for 2012, which formed part of the stage backdrop for the event. During the event, residents of different ages and races also participated actively in games, such as the “Jurong Central Record”, where residents who was tallest, youngest, with biggest waist-line, amongst others, were found.

The Guest of Honour, Advisor to Jurong Central Grassroots Organisations Mr Ang Wei Neng, also urged residents to stay happy and healthy, and shared his new year wishes for residents.
