Thank you for visiting our revamped Jurong Central website.

We hope that you would be able to make good use of this website to find out about upcoming events, new courses you could attend at the Jurong Green CC and all the exciting developments around your neighbourhood.

This platform will be the additional channel where I can reach out to you in addition to the weekly house-to-house visits and the various grassroots events. To date, I have visited all the 97 HDB blocks in Jurong Central as well as Mayfair Condominium, and met a good number of residents. Unfortunately, I could not meet all of you as some of you might not be at home during the visits. Through the interactions, I have received a lot of constructive feedback and we are taking steps to address them. Some of the major improvements we have made include:

Lift upgrading – residents at Blk 401-408, Blk 492-498, Blk 479 and Blk 482 will soon get to vote to decide if they want to have new lifts to stop at every floor;

Additional Car Parks – New car park and motorcycle lots are being added to the precincts of Blk 409-416, Blk 484-491; new multi-storey car park near Blk 339 will also be ready before Chinese New Year;

More Amenities – residents at Blk 311-316 will get more covered link-ways, exercise facilities, hard courts if they vote for neighbourhood renewal program;

These facility improvements are important. However, it is more important if residents could help to take care of fellow residents who are in needs; keep the environment clean by reducing waste and not to litter; be tolerant of each other’s religious and cultural practices, etc. Such spirit of giving and accommodating will be the cornerstone on which we can make Jurong Central a better living environment.
