Jurong Green CC Youth Executive Committee (YEC) is a young and active committee, with the aim of providing a channel for youths to contribute to society. Roaring with the energy of youth, our motto is “Work hard, Play hard.”

We work hard to serve our community, be it through helping out in community services, organizing fun events to bond our residents, engaging youths in forums and many more. After a satisfying and tiring day of service, we play hard and relax through food to strengthen our bonds and friendships.

With the support of our committed members and an enthusiastic volunteer, we have organised and helped out in many successful events. Some of our signature events include Children’s Day Party 2011, Futsal Tournament 2011 and Fishing Competition 2010. We have also rendered our full support to other committees’ events such as Night Cycling event, Lantern Festival and CC’s Open House and many more. Through these events, our organisation skills is honed, valuable learning experience is gained and rapport building with other grassroots leaders and residents is enhanced. All these have definitely prepared us to better serve the community.

Our areas of interest include sports, community services, children’s programme and environment projects. So if you love the thrill of exercise, helping others, working with children or have green fingers, you know where you can find others who share your passions!
