Project LOVE, 饮水思源献爱心, is a collaboration between all Residents’ Committees (RCs) and schools of Jurong Central Division to provide about 100-150 financially-challenged families in Jurong Central with food hampers, red packets and grocery vouchers in hope of a happier Chinese New Year for them. This project aims to promote the spirit of community service and volunteerism in our younger generation while helping the needy residents. The needy families will receive food hampers prepared by the students, red packets by Lion Club and Grocery Vouchers by Jurong Central CCC CDWF Committee. The project is also supported by Loving Hearts Multi-Service Centre (Jurong Central).

The schools and RCs include Fuhua Secondary School, Hua Yi Secondary School, Hong Kah Secondary School, Jurongville Secondary School, Jurong Primary School and Jurong Central Zone A to E RCs. They will jointly conduct the door-to-door visits to deliver the gifts to the needy families on Saturday, 14 January 2012. Advisor to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisations, Mr Ang Wei Neng, will join them in the door-to-door visits.
